On6 December 1925, Tadeusz Heftman, considered the pioneer of Polish amateur
radio and later the technical director at the AVA Radio Engineering Factory in
Warsaw, which was the main supplier of special equipment for the General Staff
of the Polish Army, using the callsign TPAX, established the first confirmed
(QSL card) communication in history between a Polish radio amateur and a
foreign station, N-0PM (the Netherlands).
