Powstanie Wielkopolskie (1918–1919)
Powstanie Wielkopolskie było zbrojnym powstaniem Polaków przeciwko niemieckiej władzy w regionie Wielkopolski, które rozpoczęło się 27 grudnia 1918 roku w Poznaniu. Była to jedna z nielicznych wojen narodowowyzwoleńczych, która zakończyła się pełnym sukcesem – Polacy zdobyli kontrolę nad większością regionu i przyłączyli Wielkopolskę do odrodzonej Rzeczypospolitej. Greater Poland Uprising (1918–1919)
The Greater Poland Uprising was an armed insurrection of Poles against German rule in the Greater Poland region, which began on December 27, 1918, in Poznań. It was one of the few national liberation wars that ended in complete success – the Poles gained control over most of the region and incorporated Greater Poland into the newly independent Republic of Poland. The uprising was the result of long-standing efforts by Poles to preserve their identity, language, and culture under Prussian rule.
